Shannon Puechner

​Welcome to Entirely Possible! I'm Shannon Puechner (she/her pronouns), a justice-oriented writing and communications coach, storyteller, and copywriter. Drawing on my unique combination of experience and expertise, I help clients craft clear, effective messages that honor their voice and align with their values. ​I am a different kind of writing consultant, centering your voice, focusing on social justice, and taking a coaching approach to build capacity even as we work together to perfect the project at hand. 

I also have almost 30 years of experience as a literacy educator, including 10 years as a writing coach. I have experience working with business, science, and scholarly writing as well as written application materials including cover letters, grant materials, and college essays. 

My Ph.D. in English Education has given me a deep understanding of what makes written communication effective and how to best support writers as they craft their own messages. Within the field of English Education, I developed expertise in Critical Discourse Analysis - a theory and method for analyzing the ways language can cause harm or promote justice.
