My mission is to go beyond this, to help clients ensure their communications are in alignment with their values. Socially conscious individuals and organizations know that every time they write a tweet, post, blog, or send an email they face the opportunity to promote inclusion, equity, and justice and the risk of causing harm and damaging their reputation. Drawing on her expertise in critical literacy, (which studies the relationship between language and power) Shannon helps clients create content that is truly inclusive, avoids causing harm, and takes advantage of opportunities to use the power of language to build a better world. |
